"Kenta's Chicken Tatsuta Burger" is a burger developed over 8 years, featuring thick, juicy whole chicken thigh meat. It garnered massive attention, selling about 1 million units in roughly one week after launch, but ended early due to exceeding expected sales pace. Even after discontinuation, numerous requests for re-release poured in via SNS, leading to this remarkably quick revival just about 3 months after ending sales.
The new "Kenta's Chicken Tatsuta Burger Aromatic Green Onion Sauce" was developed with the theme of enhancing the tatsuta fried chicken's umami through a Japanese-style flavor. It features a specially made sauce with a sweet-sour soy base infused with the fresh aromas of green onion and ginger, finished in a mild, approachable taste with reduced spiciness.
The sauce is described as a modern upgrade of the one previously used in the once-popular "Dragon Twister."
The product development representative commented: "During the previous launch, we received feedback far beyond our imagination.
Even after selling out, SNS was filled with so many voices saying things like 'chicken tatsuta withdrawal.' The entire development team was truly moved. With the single-minded desire to respond as quickly as possible to everyone's 'I want to eat it again,' we prepared for this re-release at an unprecedented speed. Please enjoy once more the serious, full-flavored taste from a true chicken specialist."
