Matsuya has also begun implementing a full-fledged surcharge of around 7% for the same time period starting April 22, 2025. Starting March 3, Hamazushi, a major conveyor belt sushi restaurant, started charging a flat rate of 7% for meals after 10 p.m. The average price increase for each company seems to be 7%.
