About college(universities) in Japan after finishing 高校 high school here.

I just turned 17 y/old, and i'm studing in a decent japanese daytime-highschool getting N2 in JLPT and 1級 in eiken last year, created some trusty colleages in highschool, I prefer to call them colleages since they're not really my friends(since i gave up trying to be friends ever since Junior high school) and i've got decent deviation scores from 60~66. I struggled with my junior high school life alot but i somehow managed to pull it off. Currently, in a spring vacation rn and I had this question in my head all the time, and people in my surroundings had always discussed their problems with their college, like having mean professors/teachers, something like that. My parents are both non-japanese soo i'm worried about how this is going to impact my chances of ever getting into a good college. I doubt my grades or performance in high school is really gonna matter or not. nevertheless, I've been hearing lots of news about foreigner students like me, who studied in Japanese subjects from their elementary, junior or high school life get refused by the universities to take them in. I wanna/must(by my parents) go to public university. I can't decide whether it is best to study subjects like sciences and Math in English or Japanese or both.
