My partner and I are in Kyoto for a few days and I want to surprise him with a nice dinner tomorrow. I'm looking for a cozy, authentic restaurant (not an izakaya) with good food, ideally focused on meat and/or fish.
We don’t want anything super fancy, just something that feels local.
