my plan to move to japan, please correct me

I am a first year student at one of the top 25 ranked unis in the world in a course of computer science.

I plan to pause my studies after this semester and work for 3-4 months to afford surgeries and get back to my university next year.

And then i will get a WHV or apply to japanese companies with my computer science degree

Is this a good enough plan? my other plan was a ssw type 1 —> type 2 visa but i dont want to work constuction until im 31 hoping for a permanent residency
