Tsukuba Wanwan Land as a day trip from Tokyo?

I’ve been thinking of going to Wanwan Land for a while but keep wondering about how “good” it is there for the dogs. The place seems big and the dogs in pictures look happy and having fun though. If you have been there, what was your experience?

I don’t want this to turn into “went happy and left depressed” kinda situation as it often happens here with zoos.
