Kyushu Trip Itinerary (2 Weeks)

Doing a trip to the Kyushu area for about 2 weeks. Looking for feedback and suggestions for days that feel too empty. Mixing light & heavy travel, ok with walking a lot, even uphill.

I’m considering staying in Kagoshima for a few days so the trip to Yakushima isn’t too long, or maybe staying 2 nights in Yakushima, but I’m unsure how to manage luggage logistics.

Would a night in Kagoshima and then using storage lockers for a few days work?

Note: The One Piece statues tour is already set. I can be more flexible with the Takachiho Gorge tour.
