I'm looking at booking a machiya in Kyoto for October or November through Machiya Residence Inn. Looking at availability on their website shows that certain units are available but when I double check on something like booking.com, it says the machiya is booked for the dates that the company's website says should be available. Anyone got any experience with this company that can advise?
