Going to Japan for the first time and would love to see kabuki theater. While I'm sure I can appreciate it without understanding, much like opera, I'd love to fully understand everything.
I once saw "the love suicides at sonezaki" in New York and while it was in Japanese there was an LED screen with subtitles. Obviously this was because it was being performed in America, but is there anything like this in Japan? Thank you in advance.
