Where to put phone, etc at an onsen

Hi, we're going to an onsen in Kyoto soon but it's across town and we'll need our phones to navigate and some cash for dinner after. We're aware of onsen etiquette but where do we put our cell phones, etc while we're there? Are there lockers? Thanks!
