I have been in Japan multiple times but have only stayed in Tokyo, Sapporo and Osaka as my base. Can someone please reaffirm my plan for Kyoto-Fukuoka-Hiroshima? I'll be in Japan for 2 weeks and this is how i'm planning to spend it:
Day 0-4: Kyoto
Day 4-9: Fukuoka
Day 9-11: Hiroshima
Day 11-15: Kyoto
I'm kind of thinking twice about Hiroshima as I might be able to do it as a day trip with Fukuoka as a base? And maybe have more days in either Fukuoka or Kyoto instead of spending days just for travel. Should I still stay in Hiroshima? Are there more edo-period towns between Fukuoka and Kyoto that's better than Hiroshima? Would love your thoughts/suggestions 🙂
