1. Too many tomatoes on pizzas and no seaweed powder or whatever green stuff is on top of pizzas here

2. Can’t tell if people are sick af or struggling with allergies. Bus is full of sneezing people, should I be scared?
   PS: I am wearing a mask but idk if it helps when 10 people open mouth sneeze around you

3. Work party today with all the departments to kick off the new fiscal year.

   I don’t want to go.

4. The other day I was getting attacked by a gang of thugs in a parking lot at the mall, on my hands and knees begging to be rescued, and this foreigner drove by and just left me for dead.

5. we got a new manager in our department, and we had to adjust the seating arrangement to accommodate him. there was talk that he might take the seat next to me, which would have been GREAT because the coworker currently sitting there is the one with the terrible, awful breath, and they would have been moved farther away from me. but no, he takes the seat on the other side of this coworker instead. guess we will BOTH suffer from their halitosis, then (but mostly me, because the stinker unfortunately sits closer to me).

   my manager has suddenly insisted on doing weekly check-in meetings. fine, whatever, except our team has a very time-sensitive, extremely tedious project that needs to be completed within this week – idgaf about whatever needs checking in on, you know how fucking busy we all are right now!! this stupid piddly little meeting can wait until the project gets finished first!!

6. New bicycle rules. Nobody follows them. I look like an insane person trying to force my way on an artery road as the koban guy told me to not go on the sidewalk if there’s no signage allowing it.

7. My company was paying us in cash. Was easy enough to manage as I use two bank accounts. Then they said they’re gonna start doing bank transfers.

   Ok no problem. Except we have to open an account at their local bank. Goddamn. That’s ANOTHER bank account I’m gonna have to deal with when doing the stupid FBAR. Took me two damn hours to open the account due to the tiny regional bank not knowing about FATCA. That was fun.

8. Cherry blossoms finally here, hanami time!

9. They gave me 4 projects at work, at the same time, giving me tight deadlines, not even caring if I had the time or if it was actually doable.

   And my foot still hurts, 3 weeks off exercise, I am getting crazy.

10. The couple sitting next to me in T-32 and T-31 at Monday night’s Louis CK show reeked of a really nasty perfume/cologne (one of them, or maybe they shared the same bottle). Also, they were carrying on a conversation during the show. These people exemplify the worst in society, IMHO. LOL.

11. Finished test to confirm i no longer have cancer anymore a day ago, it hurts like hell,
    Now feel empty and take another day off at work

    It is so sunny and i cant wait to be a normal boring salaryman again, but my body doesnt let me yet

    Tbh my english doesnt make sense grammatically recently,

12. Bought new BBQ, wife took time off work, Scouted perfect hanami location, planned a gathering of all our friends, researched and planned tons of new food to prepare for everyone…..forcaste says rain all Saturday……fuck

13. Walked down a wide empty street yesterday in the rain, and see a young lady on the other side of the street slowly edge towards me, then press her umbrella against mine as she sideways zigzags to get to a turn about twenty meters behind us. Empty street for her to walk down and then take her turn at leisure, but no, she wants to try to walk through me.

    I do admire how she didn’t flinch when I shouted in her face to fuck off.

    I don’t know if it is selfishness, blindness, or stupidity.

14. I’ve been practicing Blues Traveler’s Hook on the bass recently and it’s just not taking. It’s probably more realistic to say that I’m just not getting it. It’s probably a matter of me not practicing enough.

15. Saw an idiot driver come within a couple centimeters of running someone over, the guy he almost hit was way calmer than I would have been in that situation.

16. Been very very stressed recently due to some personal mistakes. I can recover from those. Wife is in and out of the hospital for reasons which is putting a damper on my job search as I have to watch my son

17. It’s that time of year where teachers move schools so some really good friends have left and new people have come in which means I have to be like…normal? No silliness for at least a week or two.

18. Lady decided to run a stop sign and pull out in front of me to go under the speed limit.

    On my bike in no passing 50kph zone with people dangerously passing me despite maybe going closer to 58-59.

    Allergies are kicking my butt. Thankfully, I have medication so it’s not as bad as it could be.

    General work-related complaints, but nothing I can mention here.

19. Need to breakup with someone but I’m not good with difficult conversations like these

20. I hate long distance relationships especially when it’s not even a relationship!!!!!!!!!

21. 花見 has been planned since early Mar for this Sunday with the gang but due to all the rain and strong winds looks like it’s going to be a 葉っぱ見 instead.

22. Rule number one of the “new” bicycle rules has a cute drawing of a bicycle riding on the bike lane and a car on the road. Who’s gonna tell them about the bike lanes? Anybody trying to use them has to swerve into traffic every 100meters

23. Weekend + Hanami plans = rain

    Lost count of how many times this has happened. Glad I got one in last weekend. I’ve got a day off today though too so it’s a shame I can’t do solo Hanami walk. 

24. I’m extremely disappointed in some of my colleagues. Old men acting like children. Me and another millennial coworker just the the すみません。はいはい at a guy because we didn’t feel like telling him that we both already told him of some route changes and his opinion on the already decided route changes doesn’t matter.

    He just doesn’t wanna drive a specific route. Tough cookies dude.

25. 11 yr old son said he was embarrassed when we were out together because I was ‘gaikokujin’
    A real kick in the balls for sure, I thought I was a cool dad, I dress well, talk with his friends, taught them to skate but fucking hell that hurt

26. Inconsistency and total lack of self-awareness. Something is done a particular way for years, then suddenly it’s changed with no warning and no apparent reason, yet whenever something actually needs change the excuse is, “well we’ve always done it this way so we don’t need to change it.”

    All my local supermarkets in a 1km radius are getting rid of almost everything that’s international or not boring-ass “vanilla.” I’ve apparently single-handedly depleted everyone’s stocks of raspberry jam and they won’t restock it. St. Dalfour jams, which used to be everywhere, are gone from all but one supermarket, including my Ito-Yokado. The Danish jams that used to be at my podunk Comodi are gone. No one will stock anything that isn’t strawberry or blueberry. Kamo-nanban soba bentos used to be everywhere, but now it’s just kake-age and tororo. It’s certainly not a duck shortage because there’s plenty of duck pastrami laying about. The supermarket bakeries have stopped making bagels. It’s like they’ve all pivoted 100% of their products to target a market that thinks moyashi and grilled saba is fine dining. It’s the 23 Wards, not the inaka, so why the fuck are the locals in my corner of Tokyo such tasteless rubes?

    What’s with the obsession over sticking wasabi or some horseradish bullshit into every single mayo-like condiment and potato salad?

    What’s with the obsession over making every washoku dish conform to a katsuo flavor? Dashi is supposed to impart umami, not make the whole dish taste like a gutted fish. I ordered meat because I wanted to taste meat, but instead it tastes like it was marinated in rotting katsuo. If I had wanted to taste fish I would have ordered the fucking fish.
