Is an email job offer considered a legally binding offer in Japan?

I have been living in Japan for about 2 years.

So I got an offer from a company in Tokyo, but I only received an email with brief offer details and no proper job offer document. Is the offer legally binding? If I reply back with an acceptance message, can they just take the offer back if they want to?
