I’m traveling to Osaka tomorrow (from Shinagawa Station to Shin-Osaka Station), and I just wanted some clarification on how Shinkansen tickets work.
From my understanding, I should use the same method when tapping in and out. However, I’ve seen some posts saying I need to tap my IC card and use a Shinkansen ticket, while others say I should just insert my ticket at the departure station, retrieve it, and do the same again at my destination.
