I’ll be in Japan later this year, in October. I’ve wanted to go since I was a teenager and I’m finally going to be there at the age of 35 😅.
I’ll be there for 2 weeks, visiting the big 3 (Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto) and I wanted to know if there is anything that people recommend! I grew up watching anime, so I’ll be going to places that will fulfill that side of things. Also, as a grown up now, I’m wanting to get stuff for my home (kitchen knives, etc). I have a basic itinerary mapped out with a few things I want to do, but waiting to hear back from some friends if they for sure are going to come, which MIGHT change what we do or the order in which it’s done. Regardless, I’d love to know from other people’s experiences.
Additionally, if anyone is interested in meeting up and hang out, I would love that! Especially if you’ve been there before or currently reside there.
I’m open to recommendations. I’m landing in Narita, as it was cheaper for me when I was looking to buy tickets. I’m still looking at hotels, so it would be nice to get some insight on experiences with hotels.
If this seems super vague to you, that’s fine. I’m open to trying new things. Just looking for fun things to do that people find to be worth it.
