Moving back to the US. What’s the best and affordable way to ship the stuff?

We’re moving back to the States and so far organized 10 boxes that need to be shipped. What’s the best and affordable way to do this? We’re looking at the Japan post surface (ocean)shipping, and it’s around 13,000 per box.
