Hello everyone,
I‘m in quite the bind as I have a work visa (humanities) application pending (haven’t received my CoE yet) but I already paid in advance for an apartment for the first few months of my supposed employment. I don’t think my CoE is going to arrive in time for my flight so I thought about applying for a working holiday visa instead so that I can at least use the apartment and stay in Japan for the duration I paid for and travel the country instead of working (and cancel the work contract).
Do you know whether a working holiday visa application would be accepted if I present a normal working holiday itinerary?
Should I explain my situation in my letter of motivation so that it becomes clear that I don’t intend to come to work in Japan anymore but don't want the apartment fee go to waste and instead travel the country and live there for a while?
Thank you in advance!
