In modern times, diverse forms of marriage are emerging that defy conventional norms, such as "friendship marriages" that do not presuppose romance or sexual relations, and people marrying AI as their ideal partner. What do people truly seek in a partner in this era of 100-year lifespans? We interviewed people about new ways of family and views on marriage.

A "friendship marriage" is a form of marriage where two people who are not in a romantic relationship become husband and wife. The couple reportedly agreed to marry on the condition that they sleep in separate bedrooms, but what was their reason for wanting to marry anyway…?
