Hi! I hope this is the right place to post this question, this might be the first time I'm actively writing a post instead of being a passive consumer of this app so please be lenient with me.
I recently went to Tokyo to conduct three weeks of fieldwork at Waseda University for my Master's thesis, and while I was there I absolutely chickened out on doing in-person interviews, as a shy person with very little Japanese language skills I found it very challenging. But I would really love to add more depth to my thesis and therefore I am looking for 2-3 people I could interview online now that I am back in Sweden.
The broad topic is about cafés and the act of spending time alone there, so what I'd like to ask people is why they enjoy spending time there, what makes them choose specific cafés to go to, how they feel while they're there etc.
Ideally I'd love to hear from people living in Tokyo, as that's where my participant-observation took place, but I would welcome anyone wanting to chat about this topic with me.
I would deeply appreciate any help.
