What yall think that have used marugoto? from my understanding, its a communication based book. I have no plans to work or anything in Japan, but I do want to level up my speaking. I do conversation "lessons" with an italki tutor where we just talk for an hour. usually I default to very basic sentence structures with just slightly advanced/intermediate vocabulary
I was looking into the marugoto series and it seems like what im looking for. Its very conversation based with little grammar. Since I know the grammar already, I think it might be good to try.
If anyone who has used these books has any tips, it would be much appreciated. Such as: is it necessary to go back to the beginning with them? Is it worth doing as a side project? Good tutors who teach from these books (ive looked and haven't found many). What to focus on while doing the books (ie I try to know all vocabulary in my textbooks chapter before my lessons).
Any info would be appreciated
