— In the opening of the show Callum Newman, HENARE, and Akira joined Will Ospreay and Alex Windsor in an impromptu parking lot brawl against the Death Riders.
UE got the upper hand and then the brawl spilled out into the arena, where Death Riders made a brief comeback and eventually Callum directly saved Ospreay from Mox. Looks like future matches would be Callum paired with PAC while HENARE/Akira are with Claudio/Yuta or Garcia(?).
Ospreay’s got a mic, and he sets up the main event of tonight’s show, UE (Ospreay, Callum, HENARE, Akira) vs Death Riders (Mox, PAC, Claudio, Garcia) “Chaos in Canada” match aka “anything goes”.
— KONOSUKE TAKESHITA is being acknowledged as the NJPWWorld TV Champion, which I don’t remember them doing before (but could absolutely have missed as I’ve not been paying full attention to AEW shows lately [it does appear that maybe I missed it on previous shows]).
— Also first match on the show featured Andrade as a member of Don Callis Family and thus far AEW hasn’t acknowledged him as a UE member. Could just be an AEW thing to keep their continuity, but I do feel like there’s a chance he might be quietly dropped from the group.
— There was a promo by The Dogs, Gabe didn’t mention his NJPW appearance at all.

HENARE, Akira, and Callum all came out to Callum’s music, then waited on the ramp for Ospreay’s music to hit and they finished their entrance together.

UE went into the crowd to jump DR while during their entrance, but the action very quickly moved back to ringside. Windsor came out a couple minutes in and took Marina to the back.

Akira hit a big elbow off a ladder in the ring onto DR at ringside to take us to a picture-in-picture break.

After the break, Claudio turns the tide and we get DR group beating Akira, then Callum, then HENARE. HENARE got a brief overcoming the odds spot before Claudio put him through a table.

Picture in Picture break number two; DR get kendo sticks and Ospreay becomes the focus of the attack. Mox shoves a broken kendo stick up Ospreay’s nose.

Back from break right after they do a “did Will’s neck just get broken again?” spot. UE come to Will’s aid one-by-one but are all taken out. Will gets a hope spot again, but is beaten down to a nearfall that’s broken up by Akira.

Akira tries and fails to take out Mox. Callum comes in, is slightly more successful. Dual Oscutters from Ospreay to Mox and Callum to Garcia. Callum and Will temporarily turn the tides; back to DR in control.

Claudio threatens to put Akira through a table, but ends up being speared(?) through by HENARE. Callum double stomps PAC through a table. Akira is meant to splash Garcia through a table but kinda whiffs it, they both sell anyways.

Mox alone with Ospreay, Callum comes in to help Will.
Ospreay hits Mox with a Hidden Blade that puts Mix through a table propped up in the corner; Ospreay and Callum pin Mox. -
Post match, Will goes back to beat up Mox, but Claudio pulls Mox out of the ring.
— They run a retrospective video package of Kenny’s career, which contains a lot of talk of his work in NJPW and relevant NJPW footage. (Kenny talk segment to build his AEW title match on Sunday is the actual main event of the show.)
