I walk across a lot of tiled surfaces in Japan, often down slopes. Whenever it rains I nearly slip over a lot.
I've never had these issues in the UK. Whenever I mention this to my friends, some agree but most just assume my shoes are crap.
I don't tend to wear expensive brands, more no names that cost about 10,000 yen. I do A LOT of walking, about 10,000 steps a day. Is this the problem? I've worn Nike once here and had the same issue. Also the slipping legitimately seems to start almost immediately.
I'm willing to accept that I might just not know how to walk.
Thoughts?
