Seeking information on local seamstresses or artisans😌

Hi all,

I’m a Kyoto local and planning to start a small upcycling project.

I was wondering if anyone here knows how to connect with local seamstresses or artisans, especially anyone with experience working with kimono fabrics (和裁士). Retired or part-time is totally fine. It would also be ideal if they could speak English, though I understand that might be a challenge.

I’m still figuring things out, so even general advice on where to look or who to ask would be super helpful.
