Ever wanted to improve at reading katakana? Try playing Katamari in Japanese; ALL of the King’s dialogue is katakana and kanji 💀

I passed the N2 this past December, so, with some newfound confidence, I've been stoked to start playing some (Japanese) games in Japanese. But hooooooly shit this one's is a nightmare… katakana has never been my strongest suit in general; trying to read a lot of it at any reasonable pace feels next to impossible lol

That being said, I think this honestly could be a decent way to become better at reading katakana, for anyone able to endure it. I had to take a break after the tutorial because I was exhausted (it took me 30 minutes to read through) 😭. For anyone else interested, the game is called "Katamari Damacy: REROLL", it was on sale on Steam recently. It's silly.
