Greetings, first time posting here.
I’ve been studying Japanese on and off for years. After starting sentence mining last year, I got to 1300ish cards and my Japanese improved considerably.
Thing is, I’m not good enough yet. I can’t understand the shows I’d like to even try to understand. I can’t find good novels to read for my level and when I find something interesting, it’s usually too hard for me to comprehend.
I feel stuck. This feels even worse when I consider this is not my first time learning a foreign language.
I’ve never faced the fact that my hobbies changed during these years and i think of Japan less and less in my day to day life.
I don’t want to quit, have you ever felt like this before towards learning Japanese?
