Background info. I'm 20(M) applying for WHV for Japan. I have tattoos.
I see suprisingly little about this topic. but I've heard and read that Tattoos are not generally allowed in onsens, gyms and I'm perfectly fine with that.
From the small amount of sources I could find people were saying that having tattoos may affect in getting insurance, job places, friends etc.
My tattoos are coverable and I don't have any problem in doing so.
So now the questions.
1 Do Tattoos affect on working(or getting the workplace to begin with) in Japan in entry level positions where little to no Japanese language is needed?
2 Do Tattoos prohibit life in Japan outside of onsens, gyms, spas or beaches?
