So I've been looking into moving to Japan since I visited a few years ago with family but I'm really struggling on how it would all work out. The more I read online the more it looks like I need to be able to at least pass the N4 language test to get an SSW Visa but I've only recently started taking classes again and am working up towards the N5 level.
Is there a possibility of being able to go under a student visa or something similar to learn the language and get some footing there? It's all a lot of information to process that gets pretty confusing so I'm not really sure where I should be starting.
I've got 2 years of working experience with a degree from a trade school but I'm not sure if I'd need to go to another trade school over there as well or something.
Any tips on organization, what to start with, how long this can/should take, what I should be looking at specifically, or info from those who have done this kind of thing would be incredible.
