How to fill an extra day in Tokyo

Hello! I will be travelling to Japan in 10 days for my second trip. Due to an unexpected change with my flight, I now find myself with an extra day in Tokyo, on a weekend.

Since this is my second visit, I have already covered the main tourist sights on my first 5-day stay in Tokyo. I have already visited all the main neighbourhoods and attractions you can find on any 'must see in Tokyo' list + Hakone.

Most of the things I have already done: Shibuya crossing, Shibuya Sky, Shinjuku night stroll, Meiji Jingu+Yoyogi park, Harajuku, Omotesando, Ikebukuro, Ueno Park, Asakusa+Senso-ji temple, Tokyo Skytree, Gotokuju cat temple, Ginza.

For my second trip I have planned so far:

– A full day trip to Nikko

– Tokyo tower + Zojo-ji temple

– Ueno Park

– Odaiba

– Edo Tokyo museum

I'm not particularly keen on battling the weekend crowds in Kamakura, so I would avoid a day trip there.

I am looking for suggestions for what else I can do in Tokyo or a not too challenging day trip to fill one extra day.

I'm mainly interested in history and culture. I like gardens, temples, castles and architecture in general. I also like visiting museums, but I don't enjoy art museums much and wouldn't mind visiting a fun museum. I'm also not that big on shopping.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
