Hello everyone,
I'm currently a college student with future prospects of finding work and living in Japan (at some point down the line). I'm majoring in Urban Planning and Design, and taking Japanese classes in addition to that. I will be getting a Japanese Minor regardless, but I'm wondering if it would be worth the extra effort to double major in Japanese instead (plus my Urban Planning degree), which would be quite a larger courseload (a lot of "asian studies" type classes, not necessarily relating to the language). Would this be valuable to Japanese employers at all, or would my efforts be better spent focusing on my major?
Thanks a lot,
A
