International student : What is the best city?

Hello Japanese Reddit users,

I am planning on doing my international project in Japan. I can join a Formula SAE team. I am still not sure which team to choose. I know that people say Nagoya can be a little boring. I know Osaka can be very fun, so I mailed them, but if that doesn't work out, I have a few other possibilities. I know Tokyo can be a little overwhelming as it's a big city, but that can also be very fun. The following options are: University Tokyo, University Toyama, University Shizuoka, University Yokohama, University Yamanashi, Sophia university, Tohoku university, Nissan kyoto university, University Fukui, Aichi University, Kanagawa University, Tokyo university of Technology, Kyoto university of technology.

Do you guys have any advice for me as in which place or city is best to choose?
