Would a 120V US style hairdryer work in Japan?

Hello all, we’re planning a trip to Japan soon.

My wife has a fancy Dyson Airwrap with a U.S. style two prong plug. The type with one prong slightly larger than the other.

Would it be compatible with the infrastructure in Japan?
