Hi everyone, I’m 25 living on Philippines with 2 years of IT experience and some entry-level certifications. I’m being offered a student visa in Japan (language school), fully supported by my parents.
Plan is:
- Study Japanese in Japan
- Work part-time (up to 28 hrs/week)
- Aim for N3/N2 (still only know a bit of Japanese because of anime)
- Then try to apply for IT jobs in Japan
Given the situation in my home country (low salaries and limited opportunities), do you think this is a good opportunity or too risky?
Would appreciate honest thoughts.
