Hello, I saw in the past previous posts about how you can refuse a rent increase, however I just wanted to make sure that this is only possible if your contract has no determined duration is that correct? For example, my contract is a 2 year contract that is renewed, and after the first two years I had an increase of 5000 yen a month. I expect the same thing to happen soon but I believe I don't have this right of refusal?
Does anyone have any similar experience on a fixed duration contract?
