Soo backstory, im an international student studying in japan currently started part time job hunting. So I got my first interview at a hotel cleaning job, and the manager hired me on the spot. My japanese is nowhere near flawless butt we were both speaking bilingually during the interview. But the hotel wasnt open yet, it was set to open 5 weeks after the interview, and I was fine with that. Due to the hotel being so new, they have not prepared any paperwork or contract, so they just took pics of my zairyuu and my number card.
Fast forward to 3 weeks after that interview, I had no news whatsoever. No groups being added to, no messages, nothing. BUT he did send me a link to submit shifts, which i just applied early hand on the days I was available. They approved 1 day, which was the training which i attended only to find out that there WAS actually a group for new hires. NOW the hotel has opened and I havent gotten a SINGLE SHIFT, they arent even telling me if im getting paid for overtime during that training day. Is this a sign saying that I should go away? What should i do?
