Is it worth applying a second time?

Hi everyone! Firstly, congratulations to everybody who has heard back and received good news and good luck to those who are still waiting!

I made it through the initial application and had my interview, which I thought went well. Sadly, I found out today that I wasn’t accepted into the program this year. I am just wondering, to those who have been rejected in the past, is it worth applying a second time? I know much of that decision is probably subjective and dependent on where you are in life, but I was wondering if anybody had any advice?

If you decided to apply a second time, what changed? Did you alter your SOP and your references? How did you go about the interview process the second time around?

While I feel absolutely gutted right now, I can’t help but want to try again. This has been a dream of mine for a while now and I don’t want to give up. If anybody has any advice or words of wisdom, I would love to hear it! Thank you all, and again good luck 🙂
