Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice on English-taught technical master’s programs in Japan.
My background is a mix of humanities (International Relations/Japanese studies) with a programming minor (OOP, databases, programming fundamentals). I also work in a software company in a software analyst role, so I have real industry experience.
I’m currently JLPT N3 and planning to take N2 this summer.
I want to apply to technical or interdisciplinary master’s programs in Japan (IT, informatics, etc..), ideally English-taught ones.
A few questions:
- Are there programs in Japan that accept students from mixed backgrounds like mine?
- Any universities or programs you’d recommend?
- How competitive would my profile be?
Any honest advice would be really helpful.
