Has anyone applied for a Chinese visa via the Tokyo Centre? How long did it take you?
I submitted the online form for an F visa, and the next two days were back and forth calls from the embassy to provide more details, and because I used to work in a media related role before moving to Japan, I have to submit a letter promising I wont be conducting any of these activities while in China. I'm also not a Japanese citizen but currently reside here, so I'm not sure if this added more processing time to my package.
So far since the final modification has been accepted, I have not heard back in over 24 hours, so I think that counts as day 1 of waiting.
My flight is on 30 May and I'm getting worried.
Edit: Cleared online review today! 2 business days!
