Hello! Tonight I will be staying in Takayama and tomorrow (14th) I booked a night in the Nishio hut. Now the thing is that I would love to see Kamikochi and hike to the Nishio hut from there but I can't find detailed information on the trails technicality. Question: is it possible to hike around in Kamikochi in the morning and then continue to the hut by foot, arriving at 16:00? We saw that another option is to take the ropeway but that is >1,5hours from Kamikochi by bus and obviously I like to hike instead of taking the cable way.
