Hello everyone. I am working as an SE in Tokyo. However, the problem is that my company does not have a Cloud/Infra engineer role which i want to be, offers no option for remote work, and I cannot choose the projects I want to work on. Therefore, I am currently working and studying hard for the JLPT N2 and AWS SAA.
My question is: if I have 1 year of experience as an SE and an AWS SAA certificate, can I switch jobs to become a Cloud/Infra engineer in Japan? Is it difficult to switch jobs with only 1 year of experience as an SE to Cloud/Infra? And what do interviewers usually ask a candidate with no prior Cloud experience? Is it hard to get an In-house, remote job? Please share me some review and advice. Thanks
