Context: im a new language school student in Kyoto so im still buying furniture from time to time.
Yesterday i bought a standing fan. The size is not to big so i can held it with one hand. I don't want to use delivery order since its a secondhand shop so it would take weeks to delivered so i brought it back on my own. But a lot of local Japanese seems to stare at the fact im holding a big fan in the middle of the street. Some of them are giggling after seeing me.
Its not that i bothered by that but i just wonder what do people without car do when situation like this happened? I always thought they just do it like me but turns out its not? Maybe there are more efficient way for me to do this. Im so lost haha
