Hi, I’m 20F from America and currently in undergrad working toward becoming a veterinarian. I’m interested in possibly moving to Japan in the future after vet school.
I know I would need strong Japanese proficiency and would need to go through Japanese licensing requirements/exams, so I’m trying to research the process early.
How competitive is the veterinary field in Japan for foreigners, especially for work involving farm, domestic, or exotic animals? Are there particular areas of vet medicine that are more realistic for foreign vets?
