Should I hope for a raise or seek better opportunities?

I started working at a hotel as front desk in April this year. After taxes, my monthly take-home pay does not even reach 200,000 yen. In this situation, what is the better option? Should I stay at the same hotel hoping that they will eventually raise my salary or should I start looking for better-paying jobs?

Regarding my background, I graduated from a senmon gakko, so I cannot afford to work in a field unrelated to hotels. I speak three languages (Spanish is my mother tongue) and I hold the N1. Because of this, I still have hope that switching jobs could allow me to find a position that pays better. However, I worry that I might be deceiving myself, since it is widely known that hotels tend to pay quite poorly. I wouldn’t mind a relatively low salary if the work were comfortable and the effort required was proportional, but I don’t feel that is the case here.

The hotel I currently work at is quite prestigious but that prestige is of little value when the pay is excessively low and also prohibits any form of side work. What options do I have?
