What is it with the material they use here for the floors? It's usually fine but on rainy days it becomes a mine field. It's like will these shoes make me slip and fall this time? I don't know if it's the building material they use or my shoes or what. I try to stay current with shoes but I do a lot of walking and shoes are expensive to buy every 3 months.
Edit: So, the shoes I usually buy are advertised FOR walking specifically and kinda dress shoe like? The brand name isn't on the shoe. But they aren't cheap usually around 5,000 – 6,000 yen. Maybe they last 6 months or so, but what always goes is the traction followed by the sole which gets whittled down to a slant. I am amazed some of you are able to get shoes that last a year or more and they're still fine.
