Going through my first round of status of residence renewal and therefore my first MyNumber card renewal. I know I just need to bring the new residence card and MyNumber to city hall to get it renewed.
So here's where the silly question comes in. I really, really hate the photo I used for my first MyNumber. I look like a drowned rat. When you renew your card in this situation, is there any opportunity to submit a new photo? Or is there some kind of additional form I could fill out to update it? Any advice or do I just need to suck it up?
I couldn't find any info about this online when googling in English, and the Japanese site seemed like the FAQs were more about policy details and deadlines rather than changes like that.
