How would you go about this situation?
This coworker has never really seemed to like me in the first place. Every conversation with them seems to turn into something that is my own fault or problem. I’ve made peace with that they don’t like me for whatever reason and I’m fine not talking with them unless I have to.
But now it’s not just idle gossip anymore (which I can actually handle and ignore) but actively calling me a liar to other coworkers and accusing me of things I haven’t done.
I want to submit a harassment claim but I’ve never been in this situation before. They are not senior to me in any way at all.
What would you do?
