Hello, a few days ago my toilet's flush mechanism randomly stopped working.

I don't find anything broken, it's just that the plastic thing connected to the chain is coming loose each time I pull the flush lever. I have no clue what it's called or where to buy it or how to fix this, so I thought I'd reach out here. I rummaged through the internet for any information on what I can do, but I didn't find any posts/videos of toilets with this plastic only type of attachment. Other toilets seem to have a metal-plastic attachment that wouldn't fit my current rental's toilet. Do I need to call a plumber, or is this something I can fix by myself? I'd be grateful to all the r/japanlife senpais who have lived here long enough to face and resolve such random problems. Thanks!!
