My girlfriend and I are planning to move to Japan around november 2026.
We are skiers so our plan is to get to work at a ski resort. We already worked in ski resorts in New Zealand and Norway and all we hear from Japan is that we MUST do it there.
We are from Spain and in order to get a job you need to hold a WH visa when you apply but that is simply impossible since the applications have just opened and they recommend to apply as soon as possible.
We met some people who affirm they got the job before having the visa and told us not to worry about it but tbf I am still concerned about it.
Just to clarify, it is not possible for us to apply for the Visa now since we are supposed to enter the country within 3 months after getting the visa.
We are already fixing our CVs and looking for potential job places btw.
I don't know how active this subreddit for I just found it but if there is someone around I'd love to hear your experiences and advice.🤙
