Roughly what JLPT level is needed to help teach English to Nihonjin online?

Loved Japan for years and now semi-retired. Studied the language years ago to roughly a N5, but it mostly dissolved with disuse.

Took a decent TEFL 120 hour cert last year to prep for working online teaching English Japanese people (if I can get a gig somewhere, I know the market is saturated).

Am also enjoying studying Japanese again, now halfway through Genki 1 with an online tutor.

Wondering what’s the lowest level I’d need to work towards to be fluent enough to support students (either kids or adults)?
