I currently have a HR02 router after using docomo's home5G service for about a year, and had a lot of issues with it and decided to switch to a fiber optic/hikari provider instead.
The problem I'm having now is that no recycle or 2nd hand shops are willing to take it, and have all told me to take it back to a docomo shop. But when I went to a local docomo shop they looked confused and told me they don't know what to do with it either, and weren't sure if they could even take it back.
I had originally made the WiFi contract at Yodobashi and bought the router on "discount", instead of the usual 70k I had paid 30k for it. I still have the original box and packaging, and have packed it back exactly the way it came, with no visible scratches or any damage to the router. But at this point I don't even care about getting any money back, I just want the router gone.
Does anyone know what you're supposed to do with the HR02 router after you discontinue your home5G service?
