Is working as an ALT worth the classroom experience?

I’ve been working at an Eikaiwa for kids for the past 2 years now and make roughly around 260,000 a month before taxes, pension, etc.
I love working with kids, but with how much energy you need to exert physically just to keep up with the kids it’s been taking its toll on my body recently (GERD and other gastrointestinal problems ; \_ 😉 and my actual long term goal is to be able to teach at the junior/senior high school level, and most of those jobs require experience teaching in a classroom setting.
I’ve done my fair share of research and I know that most ALT jobs don’t really pay as much. Probably around 210-250k a month. In the event that I do decide to apply as an ALT I do plan on trying to negotiate for the max (honestly don’t even know if that’s possible.) But I guess long story short, is taking less money worth the classroom experience for the long term? Also getting married this year with the ceremony coming up next year so I honestly don’t know if it’s worth it. Please let me know what you guys think!
